Growth media
CoSMi can supply both ready-to-use culture media and stock solutions to prepare them. Two different sterile media (K and F/2) are prepared with natural seawater from the Gulf of Trieste.
1L premade
Stocks sufficient to make 5 L of final medium
CoSMi can provide 1 L of each of the following two premade media:

To prepare medium yourself from stock solutions provided by CoSMi, follow these instructions:
- leave the seawater (SW) to age for at least 1 month at room temperature;
- filter the SW through a 0.2 µm membrane filter and autoclave;
- autoclave the different nutrient solutions;
- aseptically add the nutrients to the SW and store at 20°C.
