Public and safe deposit
CoSMi accepts new microalgal strains for deposit into collection. The strains will be open for public acquisition. In addition, we offer safe deposit of microalgal strains which will not be integrated into CoSMi’s catalogue.

How to deposit
Please first contact CoSMi (cosmi@ogs.it) with information on the type of deposit (public or safe) that you wish to make filling in the relative request documents (Public Deposit Request or Safe Deposit Request) and the Accession Form in which you need to enter detailed information concerning the strains you will deposit.
Public deposit
Once you have received confirmation that the deposit will be accepted, please fill in the following documents: the Material Acquisition Agreement detailing the conditions of deposit.
Email both documents to CoSMi (cosmi@ogs.it) prior to sending the strains.

Once you have received confirmation that the deposit will be accepted, please contact CoSMi (cosmi@ogs.it) for further details.
